Excuse me, but are you pregnant?

So I use to belong to a motorcycle club, Over Tha Topp Ryders, MC, in Knoxville TN.  While a member, a young couple joined and we became pretty good friends.  So when I first got into photography, Desi was like hey, I have been wanting to start a portfolio and was wondering if you would do some pictures for me.  Me being new to the craft, I was just excited someone was going to let me take some pictures of them.  Not wanting to seem like an amateur, I was like.....I'll tell you what.  You pose for me and I will help you with your portfolio.  We worked out the details and we were shooting.  Ended up being one of my favorite models.

So one day, I receive a call and it was Desi and she was like guess what.....I am expecting!!  We need to book a shoot when it is time.  I like the work that you did for your wife, so I would like to use you for mine as well.  Being that these 2 people were like family, I was like no problem...Lets do it.  She said she wanted a fall theme, outside with the colors.  So being that the weather was starting to change, I thought that UT Gardens would be the perfect place for this shoot.  So I had an idea and wanted to use some props for the shoot, which led to these photos.

It was only right that the Father, JB is in the photos.  I wouldn't have done it any other way.

So we had fun shooting and she was like, I just have one request.....that my family can come and we take a group photo.  This moment is about you, I said....If that is what you want, bring them with you.

KC Photography had a great time doing this shoot.  It is always fun to work with people who are excited to be in from of the camera.  She just finished up her baby shower and now we are just waiting for the little man to arrive.  He will have great parents and a great family that he is about to be born into.  Stay tuned on the newborn pics in the near future.  In the meantime, check out some of the other shots below.

It was all a dream.........

Welcome to my world people.  So I have had this vision for a while now that I was going to have this photography blog, right.  The purpose for this photography blog was going to be to go along with my website, to explain what was actually going on when I was at a photo shoot.  Some of the photos for the shoot will be posted here and the rest on my website.  Little did I know, that I would really be doing it, because I talk about doing a lot of things but never really do them...lmao.

Hmmm....so KC Photography

This is my photography company.  I started, not really knowing what to expect.  I actually bought a camera because I always wanted one that I could change the lenses on....yeah, I know.  I actually have taken a photography class before, but I had no intentions on actually using it as a way to make money.  So anyway, my wife got pregnant and was like.....so I know you are going to do some pictures of me, being that we bought this camera.  So I went in not know what to expect, but by the grace of God and YouTube, we were able to get them done.

Then came some Senior Photos and Prom Pictures for a relatives and friends.

So I started to think....hmmm.  I may be pretty good at this photography thing.  Well I received a call from Flashback Kidz Jewelry line and was asked to do a shoot for them.  After the success from that shoot...that is when I said, it's time to take this to another level.

That was the launch of KC Photography!!

So....now that you have the history, where are we today?  

KC Photography is like fine wine....getting better with age.  We are becoming a household name.  My goal is when people think of pictures, that they think of us.   As you can tell from the photos, we have opened up our portfolio.  We offer a buffet of styles that we can set up for you or if you have an idea that needs to be brought to life, we can do that too.  See...anyone can go and take pictures, but the problem occurs when you go to your friends and family house and they have the same pictures that you do.  

Dare to be different people.
